When I began looking for a home I met with two other mortgage companies before coming across Mat with fairway mortgage. Mat had great energy, was friendly, very knowledgeable, and timely on any questions I had along with the process once I did begin buying a home. I will never use someone else.

It had been many, many years since we've purchased a house, and things have changed in most every way. We didn't even know where to start with choosing a lender after finding the home we wanted to move forward with. Using Google, three lenders came up and I reached out to all three to start the process and see where each would go. DJ at Fairway Home immediately showed patience, knowledge that he clearly explained and stellar communication. He was always there to answer questions and even repeat himself if we were still not fully understanding something. His requests were very clear. This process was very overwhelming, yet DJ kept us from going crazy by always taking the lead, guiding us through each step with patience and keeping things light when they didn't feel that way. I was able to focus on all of the other things, knowing that if something needed to be done, DJ would let me know. 10/10 Lender for those of us who don't understand all of the details involved with purchasing a home.

There were a number of situations where effective communication and reviewing paperwork promptly would have prevented mistakes and loss of time in closing. I do appreciate that you accepted responsibility and made steps to accept that responsibility, it still however cost 3 days. And the numbers mistake was several thousand. I was looking forward to a little cash back to move, and each step, and yes a few that were not in either of our control, lead to funds lost on my part. The last step was a miscalculation where I would have received 1000 back, and then it was 700 I'd owe, then you ate that.. then other tax numbers off... it was a bit frustrating. Just being honest.. I believe you and your team worked hard on our behalf, I would recommend a little better quality controll onndocs, prior to sending. Thank you to you and Kelsey for helping us obtain our home. We are greatly appreciative, and I still will be referring Veterans your direction.
