Got confused a few times around specifics of when approvals expired and how long mortgage rate was locked in for. This was probably my issue but we mentioned how closing was probably not going to happen at the original date mentioned and when we stated pushing it back we hit a wall with how long it could be pushed due to how long the mortgage rate was locked in for. Now we can't even move into the house when we closed, we have to wait for the previous owners to move out and overall it just made the process more stressful.
