I was referred to Kevin from a friend, and that referral jump-started my home search. I'm not sure I'd have bought my condo were I not connected with Kevin. His partnership was invaluable and constant throughout my home-buying journey, and some (but not all) key highlights of his help and expertise include --- Consultative Partnership: - Kevin guided me through the entire process of buying a home and securing a mortgage. His advice was spot-on throughout. - He worked with my agent, lawyer, title company, and the seller seamlessly and efficiently to keep the process going and get us definitive answers. - Kevin introduced and managed the rest of the Fairway team (Taylor) - who were also professional and great to work with - to ensure no detail was left unaddressed (pun intended). Timely Responses: - Kevin and I would eamil multiple times a day to complete taskes toward securing my mortgage, often crossing off multiple items in a single day. I don't think I ever waited on a response overnight from him once. - He clearly identified when I needed to sign documents in a timely manner and explained why, so I understood where we were in the process and what my responsibility as the mortgage applicant/holder was upon signing those documents. I was keen to keep the process moving fast, and he moved just as fast as me. I appreciated that. Above-And-Beyond Effort and Work - I asked lots (and lots) of questions. As a first-time homebuyer I found this process to be unenjoyable and at times very unnerving. Kevin (and my wonderful agent, Jane), answered every question I had, double-checked the details, and sometimes triple-checked details related to those details on potentialities that were borderline irrelevant, but about which I'd ask "..But let's just say this and that happens and then what?", and he looked under every rock for me and walked me through the answers in a simple way I could understand. He did so patiently and kindly every time, showing empathy for my angst and understanding of my lack of knowledge of mortgages. I required a lot of hand-holding and 'dumbing things down' to wrap my head around all of this, and Kevin was my go-to-guy. I couldn't be more grateful for his partnership, and happier with my home.
