Ashland provided me with extraordinary results, start to finish, and I highly recommend her. First, I needed to get preapproved on short notice, so I could fly to Minneapolis in just a few days to look for houses to make an offer. Ashland got my preapproval in time, and I was able to confidently make an offer. Then, my funding was complex. I was to inherit money that was not yet available, that still needed to be transferred into my name. The banking transfers took weeks, while my closing date was short. Plus, I was trying to sell my mother’s house at the same time. I was apprehensive that my financing would not come together in time. However, Ashland provided me with regular guidance, so I understood what I needed to provide to her to keep the financing reviews moving forward. She also kept me informed as the reviews were approved and of the next steps. The Fairway Home Mortgage website was wonderful. I used it to upload so many documents, and my experience was flawless. Ashland cautioned me that other lenders and spammers may reach out to me. She notified me when she needed access to my credit reports and when she had what she needed, so I could keep my credit report data locked. And she was right about the scammers: as soon as I closed on the house, I started getting junk mail. Ashland’s mortgage servicing was impeccable. She is a great communicator, and she ensured my mortgage processing kept moving forward—she gets things done. She was a pleasure to work with!
