Becky was fantastic and really did everything she could to make my closing happen. But the underwriting team was not helpful. I was especially unimpressed with the fact that the head underwriter did not respond to Becky until Monday morning when she sent him a question about my loan on Thursday evening! (I closed Monday morning at 10 am.) I was also not happy that because of underwriting, my closing was about $10k more than I was originally told to expect! Would I recommend Becky? Absolutely! But I'm not sure with the experience I had that I would recommend Fairway.

As first time buyers the whole process seemed daunting, but Ed and his team took the time to explain everything and made sure we understood. They were very prompt and always answered the phone and responded to emails very quickly, even outside of working hours. What I love most about Jason is that he's a straight shooter. He'll tell you all the realities of your situation without sugar coating it. In a line of work as cut and dry as finance, that's very important to me. I don't need words of comfort to feel better. I need cold hard facts to show me my situation and then I can gain my comfort from being able to adapt to what's happening. Jason offers that in spades and is the reason we came back to him after years. It's truly a pleasure to work with him as well. He's responsive, patient and understanding. I wouldn't pick anyone else as my first choice lender.
